JEE Main and NEET, twice year from 2019 in online mode by National Testing Agency (NTA),HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar clarify that JEE Main and NEET will be taken twice in a year from 2019 in online mode by National Testing Agency (NTA)

Education Minister Prakash Javadekar has made a announcement that the national level engineering and medical entrance examinations – JEE Main and NEET – now will happen twice in a year from 2019 in online mode only .

The HRD minister made a statement this in a public press conference in New Delhi today.

As he narrate, Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and NEET will be held in newly formed examination conducting by National Testing Agency (NTA).

NTA is also going to conduct National Eligibility Test (NET), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) and Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) exams from now in the future.

National Eligibility Test (NET) calender is set for December and this is firs time first exam to be conducted by the newly formed body called NTA. changes are coming so rapidly . what will be the effect , it is matter for future.

These all competitive exams will be held on multiple diffrent dates.

JEE Main exams is settled in winter January and April, while NEET is lefted to held twice in February and May.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is currently the nodal agency, which was organising JEE Main and NEET examinations.

Next, the candidates who will be appearing for these tests will be eligible to use the best score from the examinations in counselling process at the admission time.

Important note is that syllabus, question formats, language and fees for the exams would not be changed.

“The exams will be more secure and at par with international norms. There will be no issues of leakage and it would be more student friendly, open, scientific and a leak-proof system,” Mr. Javadekar told reporters.

“The NTA would benefit the students and they would have the option of going to computer centres from August-end to practice for the exams , The tests would be computer-based,” he included.

The exams held over a span of four-five days and students would have the option of choosing the dates according to their choices.

The time table of the exams will be scheduled by NTA would be uploaded on the ministry’s website soon.

However, the IITs would continue to conduct Joint Entrance Examination-Advanced exam.

For the rural students, NTA would make the centres at sub-district/district level and as far as possible would provide hands-on training to the students for their practices the same.
